Greetings. I am Norgleflorb of the Tozawuah Clan. My friends call me Norg. I am a Poggle. You're probally wondering what a poggle is. That's because we don't exist yet. Not until about 100 million years from now. We poggles are the last mammals to inhabit the earth. In 100,000,000 years my kind live under ground in what is now Australia. There is a species of spider that feed and take care of us. They supply us with everything we need to survive. Therefore we never have to leave our homes and we never know what life on the surface is like. For many generations my fellow poggles believed these arachnids to be gods who take care of us. Every now and then the gods require a "sacrifce" where they devour one of us. We were brought up to just accept it and to never question any of it. But then I gradually came to realize the grim truth. That the spiders were not gods and were just merely fattening us up for food. We are no different than cattle of your time. When I tried to tell the others they called me a heretic and disassociated themselves from me. Then I discovered that some fellow secularist poggles have been working on a time machine. When the others found out they immediately made the decision to "put an end to this heresy". I managed to transport myself to the 21st century(which the fundie poggles insisted did not exist. They believe the earth is only 800 years old) before they had a chance to find the machine and destroy. I'm 100 million years away from home and I've never been happier. I finally found an escape from the slavery and oppression that my kind have suffered for countless generations.
