Global Humidity, THAT’S the Problem
I’m an circus elephant. I sweat a lot. So when I read the latest reports on global warming I became concerned. There’s nothing worse than humid weather in a hot circus tent. The clowns hose you down and two minutes later you’re back to sweating like the lion tamer. Feels like you’re working inside a sponge.
There are two things I know a little something about - balancing flat feet on a ball and the science behind evapotranspiration. Although temperature methods remain empirical and require local calibration of wind data, relatively accurate performance using the Penman-Moneith approach has been indicated in a number of studies by European research institutes and the American Society of Civil Engineers. Their consensus is the same as mine - you won’t want to be wearing polyester in the years to come. I’m paraphrasing.
When you"re big guy like I am, summers in a tent are bad enough. Now, thanks for global warming, it will be even more unpleasant. My advice? Befriend some clowns with hoses.

The 2nd sentence in the 2nd paragraph made my eyes roll around in my head and my brain started leaking out of my ears. WHAT!!!! Okay, it’s getting hotter and more humid. How do you befriend clowns? I’m a cute cat. Do you know what I would look like if a clown hosed me down? We don’t like water. No polyester, only wool. I don’t wear clothes why do I care? Why did I read this commentary and why am I writing this? My feet are dirty, I need to lick them.
I don’t understand half of what you said, big boy (say, you’re a big Elephas Maximus, and I’m a big cat!), but it sounds heavy. You think you’ve got serious humidity? Come on down here and just step out of doors- you will dissolve in your own juices in 5 seconds! This is the most humidest place in the US of A, especially now when the Tropical Waves dump an ocean on our heads. You need A/C in your tent, Titus. Why don’t you put your foot down, like on your trainer’s head, until they get you some?
