It has been lamented upon the lack of entertainment for furries in general.  Now is the opportunity to make your mark – as a writer, screen writer, animator, actor, graphic designer, stage designer and more.  Sparked by the recent Hollywood writers’ strike, a small cat in the American mid-west launched the Little Productions, providing a venue for the talents of animals.

Furries were called to vote for their favourite title of a new drama and CCSI: Cat/Canine Crime Scene Investigation was born.

The two part pilot “The Kidnapped Kitty Caper” was aired on Sassy’s Blog http://littlesassycat.blogspot.com on November 17 and 18 with a fabulous international ensemble cast of nine cats and one dog.  A second episode “The Santa Caper” with an international cast of twenty-five cats and dogs was shot on location at the North Pole and premiered on December 14, preceded by a red carpet event.  Both of these can be viewed at http://littleproductions-ccsi.blogspot.com

To continue foster the talent and goodwill with in the animal world the executives of Little Productions have again called for new scripts for the next CCSI show. Stories may be sent to the email address listed in http://littlesassycat.blogspot.com.
Scripts will be dealt with in the order that they arrive.

Little Productions has guidelines for the scripts that will be accepted. Those guidelines are as follows:
1.  The title of the story should contain the word ‘Caper’ in keeping with the theme of the first two shows.
2.  Story should be proof read and as grammatically correct as you can tell.
3.  Story should be between 1,000-1,500 words or close to that.
4.  Story should be written in story form.
5.  Speaking lines for all characters in the story.
6.  Part of the story should take place in the crime lab. The forensic lab is the backbone so to speak for the CCSI story.
7.  The crime scene should have evidence left as clues that can be solved in the crime lab.
8.  The deadline for scripts will end on April 16 at midnight EST.

When scripts have been viewed and a production decided, audition will be opened to all for acting roles.  Participation in the graphic department will be more than welcomed.  I now call on all animals to get involved.  Who knows?  You may the next star!

Will the auditions be cattle calls?
